Purpose of this page
The University requires programme teams to retain assessed work for external examiner review and for institutional record-keeping. Since January 2023, external examiners do not have automatic access to module or programme spaces. This page provides that access directly.
What the assessment pack contains
Each assessment pack includes:
- Assessment brief - including the solutions or marking scheme.
- Assessment samples - with samples of feedback.
- Moderation of marking - evidence of internal moderation.
- Second marking - where applicable to the module.
- External examiner moderation form - for completion during review.
For staff
Upload marked assessments, mark sheets, and assessment samples to the relevant module folder ahead of each board. Ensure each pack is complete before the external examiner review window opens.
For external examiners
Use this page to access the assessment packs for your allocated modules. If a document is missing or a link does not work, contact the programme team directly.
