In Professional Practice you will learn to understand the importance of the professional skills, knowledge and behaviours within the construction industry, not least because the sector relies so heavily upon inter-disciplinary teamwork and the maintenance of practice standards.
You will engage with and have a better understanding of professional body organisations that relate to your respective programme of study, and will be encouraged to actively participate in local and regional professional body activities as student members.
Continuing professional development (CPD) will also be introduced as a concept as part of the module and a significant aim will be to encourage you to participate in CPD activities, to establish a reflective record and to identify future learning opportunities in response to contemporaneous developments within the construction industry.
